What is Mystery Shopping?

Mystery Shopping is a process used by organizations to check the effectiveness of retail outlets selling their products. At any given time, a company can send in an individual, unknown to the staff at a store, to pose as a customer. S/He will ask relevant questions and gauge the layout and display of specified goods in that shop. Next s/he will report back his findings.
